To learn to drive you need to be 17 years old and hold a valid provisional licence. If you do not have your licence yet, you need to complete a D1 form (available by completing the form below) Once completed send it to the DVLA along with your passport or birth certificate together with a passport sized photo and the £38.00 fee.

You can apply for your provisional licence up to 3 months before your 17th birthday, you can then take your first lesson on your birthday.
